To Worship HIM I Live

Worship is my thing. It’s what I love to do.

It’s who I am, who I have become.

Worship is when I am free, it’s when I am true.

Worship is just me and God. It’s from me to Him.

I never knew what it truly was like to live a life of worship until I made the declaration that I wanted to and would live such a life. I wanted to be closer to God, experience Him and His presence in new dimensions. I started dancing and singing in the church from a very young age, and then, it was just something to do because all the other little girls my age were doing it. I didn’t realize then that I had a gift and that it would teach me so much about myself and help me develop such an amazing relationship with my Savior.

Dance and song are my worship to GOD. I’m not the best singer or the most talented dancer but I am sincere in these acts. It really comes from within, and I have God to thank for that. The burning passion and desire that I have to give God more than ALL when I’m holding a mic or dancing on a stage, is something BEYOND me.

And it’s not just in these moments. It extends to my bedroom walls, on the bus to class, on the street, in my interactions with others. It’s a continual thing. THIS IS WHAT I LIVE FOR.

Worship is DEEP and PERSONAL. What happens during worship is hard to explain. But HE moves, HE breaks chains, HE restores, HE heals during worship, HE shows up! But it has to be SINCERE.

There are different postures and acts of worship. Whatever yours may be, just always be FAITHFUL and TRUE. This what created man for, to worship Him in Spirit and in Truth.

Post on what the Bible says about worship coming soon, stay tuned!
