Hey Guys !
So … I know it’s been quite a while BUT, I’m back ! I hope you’ve all been showing lots of love to each other since my last post.
Today I will be doing a mini review of an event that took place last weekend at Rutgers University NB: Twese’s 26th annual fashion show, themed Escape to Eden.
One of the things I absolutely loved about the show was that it was engaging. The hosts: Timi Olaloye (@topnotchtim_) and Nana Marfo were great great great ! They started the show off, hyping up the audience for what was in store for the evening and kept the same boundless energy throughout. One more time, shout out to my Nigerians !!!! Ghanaians we love ya’ll too but Naija no dey carry last !!!! (haha). I also really loved the remarkable dance that was incorporated into the show to set the scene. Shout out to the amazing dancers who brought the art to life: my good friend Damani Van Rensalier, and her partner Elijah. Twese’s very own dance troop also rocked the stage, bringing us a phenomenal performance.
I genuinely applaud the models, every single one of them. I know a few of them who were doing something like this for the first time and they did an astonishing job. I saw nothing but confidence walking up and down that runway and I applaud that; they were the show.
Here is a list of all the designers and their Instagram names, please do check them out !
